I have to admit that I was a Pride virgin. It’s not that the Pride events aren’t important to me, I’m a member of the LGBTQ+ community, it’s just that I’ve never had a chance to go. As a teen, when given the opportunity to travel to DC for their Pride event, I was banned from going. When I was older, something always got in the way. I’m so glad that this was my first event! Cumberland Pride was beautiful, bursting with love and acceptance, and I cannot wait for next year! Check out their Facebook page for more or read about the event here.
